It's more a matter of Experience versus Intelligence. Rin could accept it because he's experiences have taught hi up to now. Isagi is higher soccer IQ and is adapting quicker learning more from those around him. For now Rin has an advantage but give it time and Isagi will surpass him

Rin saw that Isagi was able to predict what Bacchira was going to do, while he didn't see it... the 2nd balls off the block, landed to Rin out of luck(but he continued to run and not ball watch so he was in the right area) which is why he buried that goal... was only natural he would be chosen(other than glam guy, because he loved that long red hair from "Missy" super GLAM

tbf its not like rin could've guessed bachira's evolution. This is the only game he's play with him aside from w/e practice they do. They haven't played a single game after taking in Bachira remb? So isagi takes another L, he just knew bachira more and MUCH longer.
